Abstract

The invention discloses a display substrate, a manufacturing method thereof, a reflective liquid crystal display panel and a display device. The display substrate comprises a base substrate; a black matrix having a grid structure disposed on the base substrate and a reflecting layer arranged on the black matrix; the orthographic projection of the black matrix on the base substrate covers the orthographic projection of the reflecting layer on the base substrate. Since the orthographic projection of the black matrix on the base substrate covers the orthographic projection of the reflective layer, the external ambient light is not directly incident on the surface of the reflecting layer facing the black matrix side. Therefore, the reflecting layer does not affect the total amount of incidentlight entering the liquid crystal cell. Since the reflecting layer is added on the black matrix, the incident light entering the liquid crystal cell can be emitted after multiple reflections between the pixel electrode of the opposite substrate and the reflecting layer of the display substrate, thereby increasing the amount of light emitted. To some extent, the effect of increasing the reflectionarea is achieved, thereby improving the contrast of the reflective liquid crystal display panel.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of display technology, in particular to a display substrate, a manufacturing method thereof, a reflective liquid crystal display panel, and a display device. Background technique [0002] With the development of the display industry, the structure of the liquid crystal display panel is gradually diversified. Most of the currently used liquid crystal display panels are transmissive liquid crystal display panels, which have a backlight located behind the array substrate, and realize display by transmitting light emitted by the backlight. Since the transmissive liquid crystal display panel has a backlight, it will not only increase the display power consumption, but also increase the volume and weight of the liquid crystal display panel, which is not in line with the development trend of thinner and portable liquid crystal display panels. [0003] In an environment with strong external light sources, the reflective liqu...
