A sand and B sand are prepared according to particle proportion of different granularities, and a relation betweenthe use ratio of the A sand and the B sand and the permeability of the columnar sand filling model is obtained by fitting; when in use, the use ratio of the A sand and the B sand which are needed to prepare the sand filling model with set permeability is worked out by the obtained relation; next, the A sand and the B sand are taken according to the use ratio and are mixed uniformly for filling toprepare the columnar sand filling model which meets the requirement of the set permeability; and meanwhile, the invention further provides the filling sand capable of realizing the efficient filling method. By adoption of the filling method and the filling sand for filling the columnar sand filling model disclosed in the invention, the number of times of trying to prepare the particle proportioning is reduced, the labor intensity of the experiment is lowered, and the working efficiency is greatly improved.
