Abstract

The invention discloses a method of a socket connector and a plug connector. The socket connector includes a first cylinder, a second cylinder, and a plurality of elongated conductors. One end of theplurality of elongated conductors is located in the first cylinder and connected to the first cylinder, and the other end is located in the second cylinder and connected to the second cylinder. Multiple elongated conductors are spaced circumferentially so as to define an internal space between the plurality of elongated conductors into which the plug of the plug connector can be inserted. The first cylinder is rotatable relative to the second cylinder to twist and deform the plurality of elongated conductors such that the plurality of elongated conductors hold and are in electrical contact with plugs inserted into the interior space. The first cylinder is rotatable relative to the second cylinder to twist and deform the plurality of elongated conductors such that the mutiple elongated conductors are in electrical contact with the plugs. Therefore, in the present invention, it is not necessary to manufacture the elastic conductive terminal, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost.
