Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: obtaining road traffic data of a to-be-measured road section sent by a road monitoring device and travel data sent by a terminal in the vehicle on the to-be-measured road section; calculating the congestion coefficient of the to-be-measured road section according to the road traffic data, the travel data and a preset road information of the to-be-measured road section; and determining whether the to-be-measured road section is a congested road section or not according to the congestion coefficient and a preset congestion threshold value. According to the method for predicting the road traffic, the server and the computer readable storage medium, the road traffic data of the to-be-measured road section sent by the road monitoring device and the travel data sent by theterminal in the vehicle are simultaneously obtained, and calculation is performed to obtain a congestion coefficient according to the road traffic data and the travel data, so as to judge whether thecurrent road section is congested or not according to the congestion coefficient, thereby improving the accuracy and the completeness of a road congestion judgment, and providing a good data foundation for the following road traffic management and control.
