Abstract

The cloud platform comprises a control node controlled by a user and at least one computing node, wherein each virtual port of each computing node is independently configured with an FSM having a unique attribute; the control node configures the FSM of the virtual port on the computing node according to an instruction sent out by the user, to respond to the user through the control node so as to return a configuration result of the FSM corresponding to the virtual port to the user. According to the method and the cloud platform in the invention, the states of the virtual ports of the computing nodes that happen during configuration are recorded through the FSM, and a predefined operation in the corresponding state is executed according to the states, thereby greatly avoiding the defects of configuration disorder, management complexity and underlying configuration errors in the large-scale cloud platform due to environmental complexity.
