Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-SPARQL query optimization method based on query rewriting and connection (JOIN) optimization on a federated RDF database. The multi-SPARQL query optimization method comprises the following steps: 1) decomposing each received SPARQL query; 2) selecting a data source for each decomposed triple mode, and pruning the data source by using a method based on a topologicalrelation between the SPARQL query graph structure and the data source in the federated RDF database; 3) rewriting the triple modes which belong to the same RDF data source and have the same substructure into corresponding SPARQL queries; 4) sending the rewriting query to an SPARQL query interface of a corresponding RDF data source to obtain part of local query matching; 5) further optimizing the rewriting query by utilizing local query matching, sending the optimized SPARQL query interface of the corresponding RDF data source, and obtaining a query result; 6) integrating the same calculation of the rewriting query part together, and sharing the same matched local results; and 7) returning a final result after connection of the local query matching of each SPARQL query. According to the method provided by the invention, the system performance and the overall query efficiency are improved, and requests of multiple SPARQL queries can be effectively processed in the application process.
