Abstract

A suspension assembly (10) comprising a support member (12) for supporting an item, an elongated substantially flat slat (14), and a fastening device (16). The support member (12) defines openings (24) through which the slats (14) may pass. The slats (14) define a plurality of holes (26). The fastening means (16) includes a fastening member (18) receivable through a selected one of the holes (26) in the slat (14) to fasten the support member (12) to the slat (14).
