A shift and selection mechanism (20) of a transmission (10) is provided with: a shift select shaft (26); a lever arm (24); a shift arm (27); and a fastening bolt (28) which is inserted into a first bolt hole (261) formed in the shift selection shaft(26) and a second bolt hole (272) formed in a connection part (27a) of the shift arm (27) and connects the shift selection shaft (26) and the shift arm (27). The shift select shaft (26) has a chamfered portion (C1) in a bolt head side opening portion of the first bolt hole (261), the chamfered portion (C1) being a surface orthogonal to the axial center (SC2) of the first bolt hole (261) on a crosssection passing through the axial center (SC2) of the first bolt hole (261) and orthogonal to the axial center (SC1) of the shift select shaft (26).
