Abstract

Disclosed herein is an air filter comprising a housing, a plurality of arrays of cyclonic elements, and a plurality of individual air flow paths. The housing includes a first side configured to be positioned or otherwise exposed to the upstream side of the first air flow and a second side configured to be positioned or otherwise exposed to the first air flow downstream side of the flow. In some embodiments, multiple arrays of cyclonic elements may be organized within and / or supported by the housing in a parallel or near-parallel arrangement. Further, multiple individual airflow paths correspond to multiple individual cyclone elements per array lifetime.
