The invention discloses a channel anomaly detection method and device based on flow index monitoring, electronic equipment and a computer readable medium. The channel anomaly detection method comprises the following steps: receiving data streams from a plurality of channels, wherein the data streams comprise user data of a user corresponding to the channels; based on the data flow of each channel,counting a plurality of flow indexes of the channel, wherein a plurality of flow indexes form a vector space; determining a first reference traffic index vector based on the traffic index vectors ofall channels, determining a second reference traffic index vector based on the traffic index vector of the predetermined reference channel, and determining a third reference flow index vector based onthe flow index vector of the predetermined similar channel with the same type as the to-be-monitored channel, and comparing the flow index vector of the to-be-monitored channel with the first, secondand third reference flow index vectors to determine whether the to-be-monitored channel is abnormal or not.
