The SCR system 1 has a delivery module 10 with a delivery pump 11 , which delivers reducing agent solution from a reducing agent tank 12 via a pressure line 13 to a metering module 14 . Via a metering valve 15 in the metering module 14 , the reducing agent solution is then metered into the exhaust train 3 upstream of the SCR catalytic converter 2 . The undosed reducing agent solution flows back into the reducing agent tank 12 via a return 16 connected to the pressure line 13 . Arranged in the return flow 16 is a return flow throttle 17 which limits the mass of reducing agent solution flowing through the return flow 16 .
