Abstract

The invention provides a method for absorbing and removing residual cadmium in farmland by means of the large-biomass plant, namely a willow, belonging to the technical field of remediation and treatment for cadmium pollution of agricultural land soil. The method comprises the following steps: 1) ploughing, crushing and leveling cadmium-polluted farmland; (2) planting willow cuttings into the cadmium-polluted farmland in an insertion manner, wherein the willow cuttings are originated from Salix jiangsuensis 795 and Salix X aureo-pendula 1011, and performing interplanting; 3) supplementing water within 30 days after the willow cuttings are planted in the insertion manner, and completing weeding, thinning, seedling supplementing and soil loosening within 60 days; 4) loosening the soil of survived willows from the time when the willows grow to 50 cm high; (5) removing the willows after the willows grow for 600-700 days; and 6) repeating the operations in the step (1) to the step (5) onceto twice. The method of the invention can rapidly and efficiently reduce the residual cadmium pollution in the farmland to the utilization level of safe production of rice and the like.
