Abstract

An electrical appliance designed with a sound dampening function to reduce noise generated by the appliance, the appliance comprising: a base assembly having at least one floating mount for attachment to a motor, each floating mount permitting horizontal movement of the motor , but prevents vertical movement relative to the base assembly; a muffler assembly comprising a muffler inner wall having a plurality of through holes and a muffler outer wall connected to the muffler inner wall to form a muffler passage therebetween, the muffler passage being at least partially surrounding the motor; a fan positioned within the base assembly for circulating air along a very specific path therethrough; baffles positioned in the airflow path to reduce noise; and attachable to The double-walled mixing tank assembly of the base assembly includes an air gap between the inner mixing vessel and the outer tank wall to reduce noise due to the mixing action.
