Embodiment 1

[0035] Such as figure 1 Shown is a method for measuring three-dimensional movement of teeth during orthodontics, comprising the following steps:

[0036] (1) At the beginning of orthodontic treatment (T0), CBCT oral scanning and intraoral laser scanning were performed on the patient, and the patient's CBCT tooth model was reconstructed ( figure 2 ) and intraoral scan model ( image 3 ); Import the tooth model and the intraoral model into the reverse software Geomagic for segmentation, filling holes, smoothing and trimming, and removing unnecessary structures such as gums, lips or cheeks.

[0037] The purpose of trimming is: the reconstructed model itself may have defects such as bumps and noises, and after trimming, the surface of the digital model will be more realistic and smooth.

[0038] (2) Superimpose the tooth model and the intraoral scan model on the basis of the crown part of each tooth, such as Figure 4 shown.

[0039] (3) After the patient has undergone a stag...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for measuring three-dimensional movement of teeth in the orthodontic process. The method comprises the following steps: overlapping a CBCT (cone beam computed tomography) tooth model at initial treatment and an intraoral scanning model, and constructing a complete tooth model; matching and overlapping the intraoral scanning model after a period of treatment with amodel at an initial moment, and performing comparison; performing analysis by isolating single teeth, and establishing a partial three-dimensional coordinate system of a target tooth; making three reference points in bracket positions of upper dental crowns of front and rear intraoral models; and calculating a spatial alternation matrix according to the coordinate of the reference points, and furthermore, calculating three-dimensional translation and rotation movement of the tooth, so as to obtain three-dimensional tooth movement. All teeth are analyzed by using the same method, and displacement of a whole tooth row is obtained. The intraoral scanning model of a patient is acquired for multiple times continuously, and continuous three-dimensional displacement of the whole tooth row in theorthodontic process can be measured.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a technique for monitoring and measuring three-dimensional movement of orthodontic teeth, belonging to the technical field of orthodontic treatment detection. Background technique [0002] Orthodontic treatment is to adjust the coordination between the dentition itself, the dentition and the jaw through orthodontic devices. The ultimate goal is to achieve balance, stability and aesthetics of the stomatognathic system. [0003] During the orthodontic process, timely detection and control of the position and movement of the patient's teeth is of great significance for the determination and adjustment of the treatment plan. However, only by observing the visible crown part often cannot reflect the position and shape of the whole tooth well. Therefore, before orthodontic treatment, doctors often perform CBCT scans on patients to observe the position of teeth (including roots). Since the CBCT scan has radiation to the patient, it...
