Abstract

The invention provides a three-dimensional display device in pi-shaped pixel arrangement. The three-dimensional display device is composed of a 2D display panel and a cylindrical lens grating. At least three pixels are contained in a minimum periodic structure on the 2D display panel and are arranged to form a pi shape, wherein the horizontal height of at least one pixel is different from that ofthe other pixels, and at least two pixels are located at different horizontal positions. Meanwhile, the distance from the cylindrical lens grating to the 2D display panel is less than the focal lengthof the cylindrical lens grating. Due to the arrangement, each minimum periodic structure in the three-dimensional display device can display the vertical texture of the image at the current positionof the 2D display panel, and can also display the horizontal texture of the image behind the 2D display panel, so multi-depth image information display can be provided, and the perception trueness ofthe three-dimensional image is enhanced.
