Abstract

A blower comprises: (a) a stator including: (i) one or more magnets and (ii) an impeller having a cup that receives the magnet; (b) a stator including: (i) an arbor; and (ii) motor windings; (c) a printed circuit board; and (d) a contact spring that extends between the arbor and the printed circuit board to ground the arbor.

Typically, the impeller shaft of the rotor extends through the stator, and the rotor rotates around the stator. During the movement of the rotor around the arbor, electromagnetic radiation may be generated within the system. Electromagnetic radiation may accumulate within the system and may interfere with the performance of one or more components of the vehicle, such as the radio.
