Abstract

The invention discloses an intelligent traffic signal control method based on open-source road condition information, and solves the problem that the intelligent degree of traffic signal control stillneeds to be improved in the prior art. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, collecting traffic data under an open-source real-time road condition; 2, evaluating a congestion index; 3, constructing an intelligent signal period model; and step 4, constructing an intersection signal lamp timing model based on the open-source real-time road condition traffic data. The technology is mainly used for coping with traffic congestion in peak hours; experimental results are consistent with expectations; the heavier the traffic is, the better the relieving effect of the method is; the congestion queuing is reduced by 16.14% under a general congestion condition, while the congestion queuing is reduced by 29.99% under a severe congestion condition, so that the traffic capacity of the roadis obviously improved; and on one hand, the urban road construction cost can be saved, and on the other hand, the vehicle travel cost can be reduced.
