The adjusting method comprises the steps that from the current moment, adjusting coefficients of Nsampling moments before the current moment are sequentially obtained according to the time sequence, wherein N is a preset positive integer; the adjusting coefficient of each sampling moment is determined according to the actual acceleration of the sampling moment and the accelerator opening degree of the sampling moment; and finally, the adjusted gear shifting rule is obtained through calculation according to the accelerator opening degree of the current moment, the mean value of the adjusting coefficients of the N sampling moments and the preset gear shifting rule, wherein the adjusted gearshifting rule serves as the basis for controlling the automatic gearbox. The acceleration of a vehicle under the specific accelerator opening degree can reflect the load condition of the vehicle.
