Abstract

The invention discloses a method for constructing an ATRP initiator coating and a polymer brush through adhesion of polydopamine and covalent bonding of a crosslinking agent. The method can construct a cross-linked and stable ATRP initiator coating on the surface of objects of different materials and shapes such as stainless steel mesh, glass, polypropylene, etc., and then prepare a polymer brush coating in a polymerizable monomer solution in an air environment. The zwitterionic polymer brush PMPC coating prepared by the method of the invention is stable in the pH 2-12 aqueous solution, and the concentration of the sodium hydroxide solution is increased by about 100 times. After forming a cross-linked and stable PMPC polymer brush coating on the surface of the stainless steel mesh, the anti-oil pollution ability and coating stability are significantly enhanced during the separation process of oil-water mixture, and the recovery rate of filtration flux is higher.
