Abstract

The invention discloses application of ACTA2 methylation as an asthma diagnosis marker. ACTA2 methylation loci disclosed by the invention are selected from one or more of cg19791409, cg17967429, cg09822170 and cg17133119. Compared with health comparison, a patient suffering from asthma has a remarkably increased methylation levels at the methylation loci, and the methylation loci can be used as molecular markers for diagnosing asthma according to correlation of variation of methylation of the methylation loci with asthma. The invention further discloses a kit for diagnosing asthma. The kit hasgood clinical application prospects.
