The method comprises the steps of detecting the temperature of a battery of the vehicle; ifthe temperature of the battery is less than or equal to a first preset temperature, controlling a generator of the vehicle to supply power to a brake resistor to heat the battery with the heat generated when the brake resistor works; and if the temperature of the battery is greater than the first preset temperature, controlling the generator to supply power to the battery. When the temperature ofthe battery is lower than the first preset temperature, the braking energy is used for heating the battery so as to improve the charging capacity of the battery; and after the battery temperature is higher than the first preset temperature, the braking energy is used for supplying power to the battery, and the braking energy recycling effect is achieved. Through the method, the charging performance of the battery of the vehicle in a low-temperature environment can be improved, the braking energy recovery efficiency is improved, and the endurance mileage of the vehicle is prolonged.
