The invention discloses a priority scheduling method for a switch and a device thereof, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a plurality of data requests from effective data requests in a waiting queue of a plurality of input ports, and enabling each data request to carry a request priority, an input port identification and an output port identification; screening the plurality of data requests based on the output port identifier and the request priority to obtain a to-be-scheduled data request; and matching the input port identifier and the output port identifier of the to-be-scheduled data request to generate port matching data, and scheduling the to-be-scheduled data request according to the port matching data.
