Embodiment Construction
[0028] Referring now to the accompanying drawings, figure 2 An embodiment of a vehicle braking system (generally designated 100) is schematically shown. The braking system 100 is a hydraulically assisted braking system in which booster fluid pressure is utilized to apply a braking force to the braking system 100 . The braking system 100 may suitably be used on a ground vehicle, such as a motor vehicle having four wheels and a wheel brake associated with each wheel. Additionally, the braking system 100 may be provided with other braking functions, such as anti-lock braking (ABS) and other anti-skid control features, to effectively brake the vehicle, as discussed below. The components of braking system 100 may be housed in one or more blocks or housings. The block or housing may be made of a solid material, such as aluminum, that has been drilled, machined, or otherwise formed to accommodate the various components. Fluid conduits can also be formed in blocks or housings.
