Abstract

The cable detection method comprises the following steps: acquiring an RGB image and a corresponding depth image of a cable; carrying out image segmentation on the RGB image, merging and pixel points which are adjacent in position and similar in pixel feature in the RGB image into super pixels; determining the targetsimilarity between at least part of the superpixels and the adjacent superpixels, and detecting each cable in the RGB image according to the target similarity between at least part of the superpixelsand the adjacent superpixels; judging whether the cables are overlapped or not; when detecting that the cables are overlapped, determining the detected overlapping relation between the cables according to the depth map. By adopting the cable detection method, the scattered cables can be detected, and the stacked cables can be accurately detected.
