Abstract

The invention provides an article input device and an article input system which can prevent the wrong registration of articles. The article input device according to an embodiment is provided with aprocessing unit, and the processing unit acquires the identification information read from the wireless tag by a first reading unit provided on a first transport tool that transports an article. Whenthe acquired identification information is not registered in a second list, the processing unit registers the acquired identification information in a first list, and the second list registers the identification information read from the wireless tag by a second reading unit provided on a second transport tool that transports the article. When the acquired identification information is registeredin the second list, the processing unit causes a notification unit provided in the first transport tool to perform notification.
