Abstract
A disposable absorbent hygiene product (1) is provided, comprising a main part (10) having an body facing surface intended to face the body of a user and a garment facing surface intended to face awayfrom the body of a user, the main part comprising a liquid permeable top sheet (11) at the body facing surface, a liquid impermeable back sheet (12) at the garment facing surface, and an absorbent assembly (13) arranged between the top sheet and the back sheet, said main part having a having a front end (14) and a back end (15), and defining a longitudinal direction(L) from said front edge towards said back edge and defining a transversal direction (T) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, wherein the absorbent assembly has a longitudinal length (Labs) of from 500 to 1000 mm and a transversal width (Wabs) of from 200 to 450 mm, and is divided by two, imaginary, transversally extending lines (T1, T2) into a front region (Rf) towards said front edge, having a longitudinal length of from 10 to 40% of the absorbent assembly longitudinal length; a back region (Rb) towards said back edge, having a longitudinal length of from 10 to 40% of the absorbent assembly longitudinal length; and a central region (Rc) between said front region and said back region, wherein in the front and back regions, the absorbent assembly comprises cellulosic fibers optionally mixed with super absorbentpolymers, with a super absorbent polymer concentration of from 0 to 30 wt%, and a cellulosic fiber basis weight of from 50 to 200 g / m2, wherein said central region provides from 70% to 100% of the total retention capacity of the absorbent assembly.
