Abstract

The invention relates to a locking element (8) for a synchronizing device (24) of a vehicle transmission, the synchronizing device having a shift sleeve (2) and a shift sleeve carrier (1), wherein the locking element (8) has: a cover (10) with a locking profile (29) which can be locked in a locking recess (11); a bottom part (14) with respect to which the cover (10) can be locked part movement; and a spring (15) which preloads the cover (10) towards the bottom part (14). The bottom part (14) forms a tilt stop (28) which, in the unloaded state, is spaced from the cover (10) and arranged radially at the bottom point (27) of the spring (15) and the locking profile (29) of the cover (10).
