Abstract

The invention relates to a content caching method based on federated learning in a fog computing network, and belongs to the technical field of mobile communication. By deploying content caching in F‑RAN, fast and repeatable data access can be achieved, reducing network traffic. Due to the limitation of cache capacity, it is very important to predict the popularity of content and cache which popular content. Usually, most classical prediction methods need to collect personal user information in a central unit, leading to many user privacy issues. The present invention proposes a paradigm of intelligent F-RANs based on federated learning. Applying federated learning to the demand forecasting problem can accurately predict the content popularity distribution in the network. In addition, considering the user's content request, the present invention jointly optimizes the problem of storage resource allocation and content placement in the network. The invention expresses the joint optimization problem as an integer linear programming model, and the goal is to minimize the total flow cost of the network.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of mobile communication, and relates to a content caching method based on federated learning in a fog computing network. Background technique [0002] In recent years, the increasing popularity of smart devices such as wearable devices, smartphones, and sensors in our daily life has triggered a surge in many distributed network devices, generating massive heterogeneous data that needs to be processed. Due to the unprecedented and exponential growth of data volume, and the typical private nature of these data, it becomes impractical and fraught with privacy issues to send all data to cloud computing centers for processing. In addition, some applications and services rely heavily on high-speed data rates and low-latency transmission, prompting mobile network operators to rethink current network close to the end user. [0003] Therefore, to meet multiple multi-dimensional requirements for quality of service, ...
