The method comprises the steps of displaying a live broadcast picture which comprises a virtual object; receiving live broadcast comment information sent by the second device; and if the live broadcast comment information is matched with a target actionin an executable action set of the virtual object, controlling the virtual object to execute the target action. According to the method and the device, the virtual object is controlled according to the user comment information, so that the virtual object can interact with the user in real time, and the user retention rate is improved.
