Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to safely and effectively perform a work for cutting electric cables by saving a load of a worker, and the present invention addresses the problem of providingan electric cable cutting tool which can appropriately select and perform either an insulated stick method (first working method) or a collective method (second working method) according to the surrounding situation of the electric cable to be cut. The electric cable cutting tool comprises a first electric cable clamp, a second electric cable clamp, an extensible stick member, and a lock member. The first electric cable clamp is oscillatable relative to the stick member. The lock member prevents the first electric cable clamp from oscillation relative to the stick member in a locked state andallows the first electric cable clamp to oscillate relative to the stick member in an unlocked state.
