Abstract

The invention discloses a positioning method for transmitting positioning data across systems, which comprises the following steps that: a mobile terminal is connected with a WLAN access network, acquires an IP address and sends the IP address of the mobile terminal to an initial position computing server; the initial position computing server sends a query request to the WLAN access network, wherein the query request carries the IP address of the mobile terminal; the WLAN access network returns the position information of the mobile terminal to the initial position computing server; the initial position computing server returns the initial position information to the mobile terminal; the mobile terminal sends a positioning query request to a positioning engine, wherein the query request carries the initial position of the mobile terminal in the WLAN access network and peripheral geomagnetic information acquired by the mobile terminal; and the positioning engine returns positioning navigation data to the mobile terminal, wherein the positioning navigation data comprises mobile terminal position coordinates. The invention also discloses a positioning method for transmitting positioning data across systems. Accurate positioning and navigation information in an indoor environment is quickly provided for a mobile terminal user.
