The method for measuring by using the optical fiber electric field sensor comprises the following steps: introducing a direct-current voltage source;when the piezoelectric ceramic piece is subjected to an external electric field, enabling the piezoelectric ceramic piece to be subjected to telescopic deformation in the thickness direction; transmitting the data to the computer through a demodulator to obtain the variable quantity of the cavity length; and solving the electric field intensity according to the deformation quantity and an inversepiezoelectric coefficient.
