The processing method comprises the following steps of twisting and compressinga copper conductor (1); preparing a polypropylene insulating layer (2) by adopting an environment-friendly polypropylene insulating material in an extrusion manner; filling a cable core to form a cable and wrapping the cable with a wrapping tape; wrapping and tightening the cable by using a polypropylene wrapping tape to obtain an inner lining layer (5) of the cable; adopting a double-layer galvanized steel belt to armor the cable in a spiral gap manner; and extruding an outer sheath layer (7) on the cable by adopting a low-smoke halogen-free polyolefin material. The beneficial effects of thepresent invention are that the environment-friendly polypropylene insulated power cable is high in temperature resistance grade (105-110 DEG C) and high in current-carrying capacity; the electrical and mechanical properties are excellent, crosslinking is not needed, and energy consumption is saved; harmful gas influencing the environment is not generated in the production process, the productionspeed is higher, the efficiency is higher, and the cable and the method are suitable for large-length production; the polypropylene material is a thermoplastic material, can be recycled for the secondtime, and meets the energy-saving and environment-friendly requirements of national cyclic utilization; and the cable is a development direction of future application of the cable industry.
