Abstract

The invention provides a gas-liquid separator and a compression system. The gas-liquid separator comprises an outer barrel, an input pipe, an output pipe and a blocking part, wherein one part of the input pipe penetrates into the outer barrel, an inlet of the input pipe is located outside the outer barrel, and an outlet of the input pipe is located inside the outer barrel; one part of the output pipe penetrates into the outer barrel, an inlet of the output pipe is located inside the outer barrel, an outlet of the output pipe is located outside the outer barrel, and the arrangement position of the inlet of the output pipe is higher than that of the outlet of the input pipe; and the blocking part is arranged in the outer barrel and located between the inlet of the output pipe and the outlet of the input pipe so as to separate the inlet of the output pipe from the outlet of the input pipe. In this way, large-particle liquid refrigerants or other liquids output from the outlet of the input pipe can be blocked through the blocking part, the large-particle liquids are prevented from splashing into the inlet of the output pipe, then the gas-liquid separation effect of the gas-liquid separator is improved through the technical scheme, and then the situation that a compressor is damaged by liquid impact is avoided.
