Abstract

A vehicle route planning method and a vehicle route planning device are provided, the path planning method comprising: detecting a first operation (610) by a user for instructing to start automatic parking; in response to the first operation, displaying position information of candidate garages on a display screen (620); detecting a second operation that the user indicates a target garage of the candidate garages (630); and in response to the second operation, displaying a target driving path on the display screen, the target driving path being used for driving the vehicle from an initial parking pose indicating to start automatic parking to a target parking pose in the target garage, wherein the target driving path is obtained by sectionally planning a path between the initial parking pose and the target parking pose according to the middle pose of the vehicle, and when the vehicle is located at the middle pose, at least part of the vehicle is located outside the target garage (640). The parking path of a vehicle can be planned in a segmented mode through the middle pose, and therefore the success rate of path planning of the vehicle is increased.
