Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for measuring reaction time of a liquid crystal display. The measuring system comprises a photosensitive element, an analog-to-digital converter, a reference voltage source and a transmission interface. The photosensitive element senses the change of the brightness of a display panel of the liquid crystal display so as to generate a voltage signal. The analog-to-digital converter converts the voltage signal into a digital signal. The reference voltage source provides a reference voltage to the analog-to-digital converter, so that the analog-to-digital converter dynamically adjusts a convertible voltage range of the analog-to-digital converter for an input voltage thereof according to the reference voltage. The transmission interface transmits the digital signal to a computer, so that the computer calculates the response time of the liquid crystal display according to the received digital signal.
