Embodiment Construction

[0041] In order to make the purpose, advantages and features of the present invention clearer, the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments. It should be noted that the drawings are all in very simplified form and not drawn to scale, and are only used to facilitate and clearly assist the purpose of illustrating the embodiments of the present invention. In addition, the structures shown in the drawings are often a part of the actual structure. In particular, each drawing needs to display different emphases, and sometimes uses different scales.

[0042] As used in this specification, the singular forms "a", "an" and "the" include plural referents unless the content clearly dictates otherwise. As used in this specification, the term "or" is usually used in the sense of including "and / or", unless the content clearly indicates otherwise, the term "proximal end" is usually the end close to the...

Abstract

The invention provides an ablation electrode assembly and an ablation catheter. The ablation electrode assembly comprises a hollow ablation electrode body and a spiral electrode component, the spiral electrode component is arranged at the far end of the ablation electrode body, the spiral electrode component comprises a connecting part and a spiral needle, the connecting part is made of an electrically insulating material, the spiral needle is connected with the ablation electrode body in an electric insulation manner through the connecting part, and the far end of the spiral needle is a free end; and the connecting part seals the far end of the ablation electrode body. On one hand, compared with a direct plug-in type electrode, a screw-in type electrode is low in propelling speed, and the screw-in speed is easier to control; and on the other hand, as the propelling speed of the spiral electrode is low, compared with the direct plug-in type electrode, electrocardiosignals corresponding to myocardium of different depths can be sensed more easily, and timely stopping or depth adjusting can be facilitated before the electrode penetrates through the myocardial wall. Therefore, the mode of screwing the spiral electrode into the cardiac muscle can prevent cardiac muscle perforation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of medical devices, in particular to an ablation electrode assembly and an ablation catheter. Background technique [0002] Radiofrequency (RF) ablation of the heart and other tissues forming a thermal lesion at the tip of the electrode is a well known procedure. Tissue in the ablated region heated above a threshold of about 50 to 55° C. is irreversibly damaged, thereby achieving the effect of ablation. Direct resistive heating of a small area at the electrode-tissue interface is the main source of heat in radiofrequency ablation. Energy absorption is related to the square of the current density and inversely proportional to tissue conductivity. In addition, heat conduction is another source of ablation energy. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy reduces the amount of blood the heart pumps throughout the body, eventually leading to heart failure; at the same time, lesions in the hypertrophic heart muscle may also l...
