Embodiment 1

[0039] A method for grafting eucommia fine varieties with buds, comprising the following steps:

[0040] (1) Rootstock cultivation:

[0041] In 2018, the mature seeds of Eucommia ulmoides were collected and dried in a cool and dry place. Before the soil was frozen, the seeds were sown by the drill method with a row spacing of 25-30 cm; in the second spring, when the seedlings grew to 2-4 true leaves, the seedlings were thinned and kept. The distance between plants is 5-10cm; the rootstock can be grafted when the thickness of 5-10cm above the ground reaches 0.5cm or more. One week before grafting, the rootstock in the nursery should be watered thoroughly.

[0042] (2) Grafting time:

[0043] Autumn grafting, on August 20, 2019, grafting was carried out at the experimental base of the Economic Forest Research and Development Center of the Chinese Academy of Forestry in Yuanyang County, Xinxiang City, Henan Province.

[0044] (3) Scion collection and storage:

Embodiment 2

[0053] A method for grafting eucommia fine varieties with buds, comprising the following steps:

[0054] (1) For the rootstock seedlings that have not been grafted in the current year in Example 1, the grafting will continue in the spring of the second year (2020), and the rootstock in the nursery will be watered thoroughly one week before grafting.

[0055] (2) Grafting time:

[0056] In the spring of 2020, grafting will be carried out when the buds begin to germinate. The grafting site is located in the experimental base of the Economic Forest Research and Development Center of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, Yuanyang County, Xinxiang City, Henan Province.

[0057] (3) Scion collection and storage:

[0058] The nationally approved eucommia cultivar 'Huazhong No. 8' was selected, and the scions were harvested 15-20 days before the buds germinated in early spring. After being bundled and marked with the variety name, they were sealed with plastic film and placed in a cold st...

Abstract

The invention provides an eucommia ulmoides improved variety bud-sticking grafting method, and relates to the technical field of plant grafting. The method comprises the following steps: (a) bud slice cutting: taking a scion inversely when a grafting bud is taken, obliquely cutting by using a grafting knife from the lower part of the grafting bud to the upper part of the grafting bud, slightly cutting xylem, and when the grafting knife is cut to the upper part of the grafting bud, slightly picking the knife outwards, and taking down a bud slice; (b) stock cutting: obliquely cutting the part, 5-10 cm away from the ground, of the stock from bottom to top by using the grafting knife, slightly cutting the xylem, slightly outwards picking the upper end of a cut by using the grafting knife, cutting into blocks, and forming a cut in the stock; rapidly attaching the cut bud slice to the stock notch, making the bud slice aligned with the cambium, and performing tight binding from bottom to top. The grafting method can greatly improve the grafting efficiency and survival rate of eucommia ulmoides.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of plant grafting, in particular to a method for grafting buds of fine varieties of Eucommia ulmoides. Background technique [0002] Eucommia ulmoides Oliv., also known as Sixian, Sizhong, and silk floss tree, is a plant of the genus Eucommia in the Eucommia family. Plants are also second-class protected wild plants in my country. [0003] Eucommia ulmoides is a rare and precious medicinal material and woody oil tree species unique to my country. It is also a high-quality natural rubber resource with great development potential in the world. It can alleviate the shortage of rubber resources in my country and reduce the dependence on foreign rubber. Eucommia is also an important tree species for maintaining ecological security, increasing carbon sinks, timber reserves, and realizing green farming. At present, the application of Eucommia ulmoides has rapidly expanded from a single medicinal use to many import...
