The invention discloses a remote upgrading system of a measurement amplifier and a method thereof, the remote upgrading system of the measurement amplifier comprises the measurement amplifier, a client, a server and an upgrading unit, the measurement amplifier is controlled by the client, the client can log in through specified software and is connected with the remote server, the server stores an upgrading file with version number information of the measurement amplifier, and the upgrading unit carries out safe and reliable communication between the measurement amplifier and a client through a self-defined upgrading protocol. The invention further provides a remote upgrading method of the measurement amplifier. Write-in of an upgrading file is completed through a serial port by using a user-defined protocol and an instruction, the equipment can process an upgrading instruction and concentrate on upgrading at any time in the normal operation process, any operation on an interface cannot interrupt the upgrading process, automatic restarting is avoided in the whole process, and manual operation is not needed.
