Abstract

The invention discloses a data stream scheduling method and network equipment, which are used for performing hierarchical scheduling on a data stream group based on two dimensions of transmission time and bandwidth consumption of the data stream group in a certain time period, effectively reducing the average transmission time of the data stream group and improving the efficiency of big data processing. The network equipment determines transmission time of the first data flow group and the second data flow group; then, the network equipment determines first scheduling priorities of the first data flow group and the second data flow group according to the predicted transmission time; if the first scheduling priorities of the first data flow group and the second data flow group are the same, the network equipment determines the second scheduling priorities of the first data flow group and the second data flow group according to the bandwidth consumption of the first data flow group and the second data flow group in a certain time period; and finally, the network equipment determines a scheduling sequence between the first data flow group and the second data flow group according to the second scheduling priorities of the first data flow group and the second data flow group.
