The internal combustion engine (100) has a first cooling circuit (KK1) with a heat transfer medium (102) and a cooler (106). The first cooling circuit (KK1) is designed to absorb heat of the internal combustion engine (100) by means of a heat transfer medium (102) and to conduct it to the cooler (106). The electric drive (200) has a second cooling circuit (KK2) with a heat transfer medium (202) and a cooler (206), the second cooling circuit (KK2) being provided for conducting heat of a component (201) of the electric drive (200) to the cooler (206) by means of the heat transfer medium (202). A preheating circuit (VWK) is arranged between the first cooling circuit (KK1) and the second cooling circuit (KK2) and is connected to the first cooling circuit (KK1) via two connection points (VP1, VP2). The preheating circuit (VWK) and the second cooling circuit (KK2) are thermally coupled by means of a thermal coupling (208) as a common component in such a way that heat can be exchanged in a controllable manner between the heat transfer media (102, 202) of the two cooling circuits (KK1, KK2). The preheating circuit (VWK) has an electric heater (406) which is connected in series to the thermal coupling (208) such that the heat transfer medium (102) of the first cooling circuit (KK1) likewise flows through the electric heater (406).
