Abstract

The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a curved display device, which is characterized by comprising: a step for manufacturing a flat display element by bonding a flat display, a transparent adhesive layer, and a flat cover glass; a step of applying an adhesive to the edge of the flat panel display assembly; a step of mounting the flat panel display assembly to a curved jig; a step of absorbing the flat panel display assembly to the surface of the curved-surface clamp by using a vacuum hole formed in the curved-surface clamp so as to bend the flat panel display assembly; and a step of bonding a backlight unit to the region coated with the adhesive, the step of bonding the backlight unit to the region coated with the adhesive including a step of curing the adhesive in a state in which the backlight unit is press-fitted to the display assembly such that the display assembly maintains a bent state.
