Abstract

The invention relates to an analog-to-digital converter, an image sensor and an operation method thereof. The image sensor includes: a pixel of a first tap; a pixel of a second tap; an operational amplifier configured to perform an automatic zeroing operation in a case where a pixel signal of a pixel of the second tap is applied, and perform a comparison operation between a pixel signal output from a pixel of the first tap and a ramp voltage in a case where a pixel signal of a pixel of the first tap is applied; and a counting circuit configured to generate a digital code in response to an output of the operational amplifier.
