The wind power plant frequency control method executed by using the field control equipment as the master station comprises the following steps: calculating standby power of a third-party substation; calculating a power distribution strategy of the third-party substation according to the standby power of the third-party substation and the primary frequency modulation instruction; and the power distribution strategy of the third-party substation is sent to the third-party substation, so that the primary frequency modulation function of the fan of the third-party manufacturer is controlled in the master station mode. The wind power plant frequency control method executed by using the field control equipment as the substation comprises the following steps: acquiring an AGC instruction value of a wind power plant from a third-party master station; calculating standby power of the wind power plant; and on the basis of the received power instruction sent by the third-party master station, the AGC instruction value of the wind power plant and the standby power, the active power of the whole wind power plant is distributed, so that the primary frequency modulation function controlled by the field control equipment of the third-party manufacturer in the substation mode is realized.
