Abstract

The invention relates to a novel low-cost phased array feed network, which comprises an antenna unit, a phase shifter and an array feed network, the array feed network is composed of five single-layer C-BFNs, each single-layer C-BFN comprises two input ports and three output ports, two of the single-layer C-BFNs serve as input layers of the array feed network, and the remaining three single-layer C-BFNs serve as output layers; three output ports of each single-layer C-BFN in the input layer are respectively connected with one input port of the three single-layer C-BFNs in the input layer; the output ends on the two sides of each single-layer C-BFN in the input layer are connected with one antenna unit through a one-digit (0 degree/180 degree) phase shifter. According to the invention, through cascade connection of a plurality of feed networks, beam control of the four input ports on a 3 * 3 array is realized. Finally, the use number of the T/R assemblies is reduced from nine to four, and the scanning angle of the array antenna is widened.
