Abstract

This invention provides a memory device, which comprises controller, power manage unit with actuator, communication unit and memory unit, wherein, the power manage unit has a controlled switch module connected with the actuator and memory unit and with the controller and is used to make the memory device to dormant state and waking state according to the controller. This invention also provides a memory method, which is to control the switch module in the memory device through the memory controller and to let the memory unit get or lose electricity and furthermore to let the memory device has waking and dormant states in normal electricity states, which is waking state in work and dormant state out of work.
