Abstract

The present invention discloses one kind of steam generator with pressure sensor for drum type washing machine and its control method. The steam generator includes one casing, one water level sensor set on the casing to detect the water level inside the steam generator, one heater inside the casing to heat water to form steam, and one pressure sensor set on the casing to detect pressure inside the steam generator. The beneficial effect of the present invention is effective prevention of overhigh pressure inside the steam generator. In case that the pressure inside the steam generator reaches some set value, the pressure sensor detects the pressure and the heater is made to cut off to avoid further pressure increase.
