Embodiment Construction

[0078] Figures 2A-2G illustrate one embodiment of the full body safety harness 100 of the present invention. Safety harness 100 includes an upper torso section, section or assembly 110 and a lower torso (hip) section, section or assembly 112 . The upper torso portion 110 includes: a first shoulder strap 120 and a second shoulder strap 130 extending over the user's shoulders; and a multi-part chest strap 140 extending between the first shoulder strap 120 and the second shoulder strap 130 . A first end of each shoulder strap 120, 130 extends downwardly across the user's back to form first and second substantially longitudinal back straps 122, 132, respectively. Back straps 122 , 132 cross across D-ring 150 and connect to D-ring 150 in a manner similar to that of D-ring 50 described above. After crossing and passing through the D-ring 150, the back strap sections 122, 132 of the shoulder straps 120, 130 are joined by a substantially transverse back strap 160 that passes substan...

Abstract

A full body safety harness to be worn by a person, wherein an upper torso portion is operatively connected to the lower seat portion by a first connector on a first lateral side and a second connector on a second lateral side thereof. The first connector and the second connector enable forward and rearward rotation of the upper torso portion relative to the lower seat portion without causing a significant increase in tension in the lower seat portion. A safety harness which includes at least one strap section including a cam buckle to adjust a fit of the strap section. A safety harness includes a label pack system including a base and a closure. The base and the enclosure at least partially enclose at least one label when the closure in a closed state. A safety harness includes a strap section having an interior surface and an exterior surface. The interior surface is perceptibly different from the exterior surface so that a wearer can distinguish the interior surface from the exterior surface. A safety harness includes at least one strap section have a first end; the first end including an end member, the end member includes a retaining member to connect the end member to the strap or to another strap of the harness.
