Benefits of technology

The present invention is a sleeping system that provides a support surface for at least one person. The system consists of a bed frame and several discrete mattress segment members that can be easily inserted and replaced by the user or manufacturer. The mattress segment members can be of different firmness levels so that each person can choose their preferred firmness level independently. This allows for customization of the support surface to meet the needs of each person. The invention also allows for easy reorganization and replacement of the mattress segment members.

Problems solved by technology

A sleeping surface that is too hard will force the spine into an unnatural position, while one that is too soft will sag and fail to provide adequate support.
