Benefits of technology

The present invention is a cap brim shaper that a user can wear to instantly conform the cap bill to the shaper's flat shape, making it easier to wear and maintain the desired shape. The shaper can also display the user's personal statement or team spirit and securely hold the shaper in place on the cap bill during use. The invention is designed to improve the display, transport, shaping, and storage of athletic headwear.

Problems solved by technology

This was viewed as unacceptable in terms of functionality or general desirability for wearing.
While there have been many hat shaping devices and a number of devices for shaping the bill or visor of a baseball cap, none provides an instant means of keeping the shape of a bill of a cap intact upon purchasing the cap, such as at a sporting event, and the capability of wearing the shaping device as an integral part of the cap.
The device is not wearable on the head of a wearer and would immediately slip off in active use.
The device covers the entire front of the cap and would therefore cover the insignia on the cap and be undesirable for wearing.
This purpose is not always achieved.
Another known problem is that while traveling, in an effort to store the headwear inside the luggage, the headwear is often crushed or reshaped when other items are packed on top of the headwear or during the transportation of the luggage.
However, each one of these references suffers from one or more of the following disadvantages: curving of the bill, unequal distribution of pressure, aesthetically distracting, inconsistent curve, overly complex, non-modular design, massive and non-economic use of material and space.
